Perhaps you have acquired a piece of furniture from a loved one. Or, perhaps you found a piece of furniture curbside or purchased one from a second-hand store. Either way, the furniture piece has good bones but needs some updating.
A client was looking to turn this chair into a comfortable spot in her sunroom. The problem was that the sunroom had mostly modern all-weather patio furniture in it. You’ll see from the photo below that all it took was an updated fabric choice and using double-piping instead of nailheads to modernize it. Now this chair fits in perfectly.
I’m back from a trip to Europe to visit my former exchange students. What a fantastic trip it was! I went to France, Belgium, and Germany. It was wonderful to meet their families and be treated like royalty–especially when surrounded by castles.
